Configuring this boat to meet your changing needs is, literally, a snap!
BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products), which owns the Evinrude, Manitou and Alumacraft brands, among others, is promising to"revolutionize the pontoon industry" with its new Sea-Doo Switch. Not only does it have jet propulsion, but you can rearrange the deck to suit your boating needs on any given day.
"It's a dynamic pontoon with the heart of a Sea-Doo, and its quick-change deck design can be completely reconfigured to fit a solo fishing trip in the morning to a family picnic at noon, and a wakeboard session in the evening," says Annick Lauzon, director, Global Marketing, Sea-Doo and Ski-Doo at BRP.
This tri-hull features a Rotax jet propulsion system and unique handlebar steering system — and the entire deck is made of configurable tiles. The helm is stationary, but the rest of the layout can be quickly changed to accommodate any adventure with easy-on, easy-off LinQ quick attach tiles. There are almost 100 options available, allowing people to add or remove seating, change table locations, and more. Take a look for yourself.
Three Switch models, ranging from 13 to 19 feet, start at $22,499. Two upgrade package options — the Cruise and the Sport — offer lengths ranging from 13 to 21 feet. Each features ROTAX jet-drive power options from 100- to 230-hp | Sea-Doo.com/switch
